Jordan chooses Milan, the Italian fashion capital, for its first opening. The world’s first flagship store opens in Via Torino 21 and it welcomes inside the apparell line, men, women and children footwear and a customization area. The Jordan World of Flight Milano is about 360 square meters and it features on the first floor the artists’ collabs and the sports proposals for yoga and dance. In the store, decorated with murals made by the italian artist Stefano Summo, 40 footwear models and the latest flagship Jordan products.
«Through this project we bring our logo in Milan. The store is an incredible expression of the world of Jordan and it allowa us to directly engage with our community», explained Craig Williams, Jordan Brand Global President. The previous day, December 15th, the private opening event has taken place inside the Galleria Meraviglia, near the World of Flight. The break dancer Antilai, Bounce Factory’s dancers, the singers Epoque ft. Polly & Pamy and Lazza exhibited during the show, as well as the dunkers TDK, 23Khadim and K Muni who competed in a legendary dunk contest. Many international guests were present, including Teyana Taylor, Marco Belinelli, Marco Evangelisti, Craig Williams, Sandra Idehem and the MCs Nausicaa and Gianluca Gazzoli.
